On Thursday 19 October 2023, Derry’s Guildhall Square was filled with the sound of hundreds of singers in a performance of ‘Dreams’ by the Cranberries, as featured in the TV series, ‘Derry Girls’.

The event was part of the City of Derry International Choir Festival’s 10th anniversary celebrations, involving singers from all over the world.

It celebrated the incredible success of the TV series #DerryGirls and acknowledged Derry-Londonderry being honoured with the prestigious designation of UN City of Peace.
