‘Social cohesion through singing’

The theme of this year’s symposium is ‘social cohesion through singing’. The online panel discussion features a presentation by Roula Abou Baker, singer and manager of the Fayha Choir from Lebanon, with discussion on topics related to social inclusion, open access and the language of choirs and choir rehearsals.

Joining Roula on the panel will be Maestro Barkev Taslakian, conductor of the Fayha Choir, along with representatives from Sing Ireland, Gospel and Community Choir Directors and Proud Voices, the UK and Ireland LGBT Choir Network.
